Tiny Morton

If the reports are true about Dwayne Morton leaving Brooklyn's Abraham Lincoln High School for higher pastures the PSAL will be losing one of its best head coaches.  Morton has coached some of the best players in PSAL history.  Lance Stephenson, Stephon Marbury and younger cousin Sebastian Telfair all captured city championships under Morton while playing at Lincoln.

Since the turn of the century Lincoln has had a lock on the PSAL title.  Morton coached Stevenson to four consecutive city crowns during his time at the Brooklyn school.  Stevenson and crew surpassed Sebastian Telfair's bunch who won the PSAL Championship three consecutive years between 2002-04.  If Morton leaves Lincoln there are a number of schools ready to replace Lincoln as the signature school in the PSAL.
