Knicks win 4 straight!

Apparently the Knicks aren't finished toying with the city of New York's emotions just yet.  After looking dead in the water since the all-star break the Knicks have run off four consecutive victories.

Tonight the Knicks didn't let the game slip away in the third or fourth quarter.  Fourteen times this season they have had the lead in the fourth quarter and failed to close the game out.  Leading by only six heading into the fourth quarter, New York turned up another notch scoring 32 points in the final period.

Amar'e Stoudemire shot 9-10 from the field and grabbed 6 rebounds in 29 minutes of action.  He's continued to show signs of improvement this season.  Stat is playing his best basketball in three years.  Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 28 points, going 5-7 from three point range.  The rookie has arguably been the Knicks best spot up shooter this season.  Tyson Chandler missed tonight's game for personal reasons.  The team didn't miss a beat with Amar'e Stoudemire filling in the starting line up.

Mike Carter Williams put on his own show on Broadway.  The stand our rookie scored 23 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and hauled in 10 assist.  Carter Williams has taken after some of the NBA's best posting an impressive stat line at Madison Square Garden during his rookie season.

The Knicks next game will be in Boston Wednesday night.  The quest for the eight seed continues then.
