Knicks pacers garden tonight

The Knicks six game winning streak will be on the line later on when Indiana steps foot in Madison Square Garden.  The Pacers would like nothing better than to end New York's latest push towards a playoff position.  These two teams flat out do not like each other.

The Knicks have dominated front page news in recent days with the hiring of Phil Jackson as president of basketball operations.  The time has come for New York to regain its focus and take care of business where in counts most.   New York, and more importantly Carmelo Anthony should be well rested having not played since Saturdays resounding win at home over Milwaukee.

The Pacers have won four straight since stumbling a bit after all star weekend.  They enter the game 50 -17, three games ahead of Miami for the number one slot in the eastern conference.  Home court advantage could be the Pacers meal ticket to the finals this year.  Around this time a year ago the Heat were in the process of pulling off a historic 27 game win streak.  This year the team is not hitting on all cylinders in the same manner.  Indiana has the perfect opportunity to walk towards the NBA Finals.  Now is the time for the Pacers to turn in up to another level.
