napping fan

During my years watching ESPN I've witnessed fans, coaches and even announcers become the center of a joke on many occasions.

A fan that was caught napping during a New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox telecast has filed a $10 Million dollar lawsuit in the Bronx against ESPN and the Yankees.

The Red Sox and Yankees rivalry may have lost some steam in recent years, but to fall asleep in this type of atmosphere against your vaunted rivals is embarrassing in itself.

The lawsuit claims the plaintiff suffered emotional distress and a possible loss of future income.  This all sounds like a ploy to get a pay day out of a billion dollar enterprise.

Real Yankee fans don't fall asleep when Boston is in town.
