Moore Bananas.

Sheryl Swoopes, Lisa Leslie, Teresa Weatherspoon and all the other women that helped usher in the WNBA almost 20 years ago should be proud of themselves.  Those women laid the ground work for all the talented stars playing in the league today.

Maya Moore opened the second half of the Minnesota Lynx season with one of the greatest performances in the short history of this league against the Atlanta Dream.  Moore scored 48 points, including a blistering 7-9 from three-point range. Atlanta is no push over.  Three starters from the Eastern Conference All-Star team play for the Dream. Moore's  outstanding point total is the second highest output in WNBA history.

Moore is in the midst of an MVP caliber season. She has scored at least 30 points in 10 games this season, which is a league record.  At this pace Minnesota will be a tough out come playoff time.

Moore is arguably the best player in the women's game.  She's had the shackles removed from her game since her departure from  Connecticut.  She has the total package on the basketball court. Inside, outside and mid-range.  Her game really has no weakness.

Basketball fans, while your waiting for the NBA to return this fall check out Maya Moore. You won't regret it.
