BACK to ACTION!

Rucker Park is one of the oldest street ball venues in the country.  Julius Erving played here in the 1970's. Kobe Bryant was here in 2002 as a 23 year old, three-time defending NBA Champion.  Baron Davis, Joakim Noah, Lew Alcindor and Pee Wee Kirkland have all shined at Rucker.

Since 1982 Rucker Park has done a great job hosting the Entertainers Basketball Classic.  Hip-hop and basketball have blended to form our own culture.  Shout outs to N.Y Falcons, Sean Bell All-Stars and the rest of the teams representing at 155th street.  The E.B.C was originally held at Marcus Garvey park.

The Polo Grounds hold a special place in New York City history.  The Mets, Yankees, Giants (football), Giants (baseball) and Jets all once called 155th and eight Avenue home.

Much respect to Dwight Hardy and Justin Burrell for holding the Bronx down all over the city.
