Rose day-to-day!

Derrick Rose left the Chicago Bulls home opener against the Cleveland Cavaliers with an apparent ankle injury.  Seeing Rose limp off the court is the last thing the Bulls organization needs at this point.  Rose has played in only 11 regular season games over the last two years.  A torn meniscus ended Rose's season prematurely last year.

The injury isn't perceived to be nearly as bad as it looked. Rose's body weight came down on his right ankle, twisting it in an award motion.  Ankle injuries can be difficult to recover from.  An ankle injury cost Derek Jeter most of the 2013 MLB season.

When Rose walked off the court in pain the entire arena watched in concern.  Chicago has missed out on two opportunities to win it all mainly because of Rose's inability to stay healthy.  It's almost as if the entire city of Chicago's hopes are resting on those legs. Chicago has managed to get better despite the recent departures of Luol Deng and Carlos Boozer.  The 16 year championship drought in the Windy City could come to an end this year.  For that to happen Rose must stay healthy.
