HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!

Tim Duncan passed Karl Malone to move into fifth on the NBA's playoff scoring list in the San Antonio Spurs game three win over the Portland Trail Blazers.  It is only fitting that Tim passed a guy who played the same position but failed to capture a championship.

Tim has aged as gracefully as any star in the history of this great league.  At 37 years of age, he remains one of the elite big men in the game.  Father time is having a hard time slowing Tim down.

A playoff series isn't over until you lose a home game.  The Brooklyn Nets still have life after defending home court against the Miami Heat in game three of their second-round series at Barclays.  The last thing LeBron James and the Heat want to do is give the Nets life.  Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce still wear green under those Brooklyn uniforms.  If Brooklyn can even the series up in game four a seven game series may be inevitable.

Happy Mothers day to all the beautiful hardworking mothers out there.
